Named the region with the highest land value

More than 44,300 deals on the land market have been concluded since February 24 last year. They cover an area of 82,254 hectares. This is stated in the notification of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, writes agronews.ua.

“In general, as of today, over the entire period of the land market’s functioning, 145.3 thousand land deals have been concluded on an area of 326.78 thousand hectares,” the ministry specified.

The leaders in terms of land areas for which transactions were recorded for the entire period are: Kharkiv Oblast (39.6 thousand ha); Dnipropetrovsk region (29.5 thousand hectares); Poltava region (26.9 thousand hectares); Kirovohrad region (26.5 thousand hectares); Kherson region (21 thousand ha).

“The average price of 1 hectare of land in Ukraine is UAH 41.27 thousand. This indicator was obtained on the basis of 120,300 land sales agreements covering an area of 273,700 hectares,” the ministry specified.
